Discover the art of woodburning with this hands-on Intro to Pyrography workshop with Paint by DeLoné. Following their stunning feature in Columbia Arts’ Rooted in the Gorge exhibit in February, DeLoné returns to guide participants through the fundamentals of woodburning. 

In this introductory class, you’ll explore:

  • A brief history of pyrography

  • Tools and safety basics

  • Foundational line work techniques

  • How to create depth and shading through burn techniques

The featured project for the workshop is SNAKE, a powerful symbol of transformation and new beginnings—an invitation to shed the old and embrace the new through your own creative process.

No experience needed—just bring yourself!
